The Annual Faribault Spike Fest Adult Volleyball Tournaments are set for February 19-20. The “Tommy Allen Scholarship Fund” is the beneficiary of the tournament. The fund allows low-income families to participate in Faribault Park and Recreation Department programs at 50% off. Since 2011, the fund has dispersed nearly $30,000 to low-income families.
Despite the fact the tournament is a very worth fundraiser, the cost for teams to participate is only $100 per team and teams receive a very generous (8) game guarantee. Please consider supporting this very worthy cause by getting off the couch and digital devices and into the physical action this year!
